The milkshakes are one of the best we have had. I got a strawberry shake and it was big, thick and chunks of strawberry. Just outstanding! ”

“ I've had this place on my list to check out for a few years and finally happened to be in the area, so stopped to get a taste. The interior is definitely American diner. I loved the nostalgic tables, bar stools and checkerboard floor. Friendly service, greeted upon entering and instructed to sit wherever. The menu is simple but not boring. They have daily specials, as well. I am a big fan of Coney dogs, so I knew what I'd be ordering. The dining room wasn't busy but the order seemed to take a little longer than I'd thought it would. The fries were hot and paired very well with malt vinegar -like fair fries! The Coney dog arrived warm but not hot. The hot dog was beef and a solid dog. The chili was delicious. The cheese was from a bag and never melted. I blame that on being pre-shredded and being placed on a warm chili dog. 3.8 out of 5 for the type of cheese, lack of onions & cheese (you gotta load up a chili cheese dog!) and the temperature it arrived to the table. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. Prices were fair. Service was friendly. I'll give them another visit soon and maybe I'll take it to go - eat the fries in the car and microwave the Coney dog when I get home ”
